Technology is never a finished product. They are always evolving and changing to fit different needs and use cases. The people who understand them, question them, and push back on them have real power to influence what they become. Most technology education stops at how to use a tool. We go further by challenging our community through our programing to think critically about who built these technologies, whose interests they serve, and what it means to use them on your own terms. That kind of understanding doesn't just change what one person can do. It changes what communities can demand, build, and contribute to the technologies defining our time. More voices in that conversation changes what gets built and who it serves.
